Patricia Cabrera is the Director of the Houston East End Communities Collaborative at CHRISTUS Foundation. A graduate of the University of Houston, she has a long history of working in community education and engagement, focusing on strategic planning, fundraising, and community outreach to foster partnerships and empower residents.
Outside of her primary role, Patricia is a dedicated community organizer and serves as a Board Advisor for Barrio Dogs. She is passionate about boosting civic engagement, preserving cultural heritage through public art, and building trust between families and local institutions. Her family moved to Texas from Guatemala in the 1950s.
