A University of Florida graduate, his distinguished journalism career includes extensive field anchoring during major hurricanes and embedding with the 82nd Airborne Division during the war in Iraq.
Outside of the newsroom, Paul is a family man, married to fellow journalist Katie LaGrone, with whom he has two sons. He is a lifelong fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, having attended his first game at the age of eight, and enjoys spending his free time with family and friends.
Unique fact: Paul spent a month in Iraq and Kuwait, where he reported from inside one of Saddam Husseins palaces and uncovered an underground intelligence bunker.
