Polly Curtis is the Chief Executive of the cross-party think tank Demos. Her extensive career in journalism includes senior editorial roles at The Guardian, HuffPost UK, and Tortoise Media. She holds an MA in journalism and completed a leadership programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
Outside of her primary role, Pollys work is consistently driven by themes of social equity and fairness. She is an author focused on social justice and has served as a trustee for the Public Interest News Foundation. Polly lives in Camden, London, with her husband and two children.
Her first book, "Behind Closed Doors, " an investigation into the UKs child protection system, was a finalist for the prestigious Orwell Prize for Political Writing in 2022.
