Prof. (Dr. ) Y. S. R. Murthy is the Pro Vice Chancellor (Law) at SRMIST, renowned for his expertise in human rights and academic institution-building. His distinguished career includes serving as a civil servant (1985 IAS batch) in the Prime Minister’s Office and founding RV University as its first Vice Chancellor. He holds an M. A. in Human Rights from the University of London.
