With over ten years of experience, she specializes in R&D for color cosmetics and personal care products. A graduate of Valdosta State University, she recently completed the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women program.
Outside of the lab, Rachel is a fierce advocate for STEM careers, spearheading programs to introduce students to the cosmetic chemistry profession. A Georgia native now based in New York, she is a mother who often discusses the balance between entrepreneurship, science, and womanhood in her personal blog.
Unique fact: Rachel was named the College of Science and Mathematics Distinguished Alumna of the Year by her alma mater, Valdosta State University.
