Rhett DeSpain

Rhett DeSpain serves as an Operations Manager at Xcel Energy, leveraging his degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. He has a keen focus on operational data reliability and has been recognized for his contributions to the engineering community, receiving a leadership and achievement award from the IEEE.

Originally from the Oklahoma panhandle area, Rhett is a family man based in Amarillo, Texas. He is married and has five children. His community involvement extends to professional organizations where he has held leadership positions, such as past chair for his local IEEE section.

Rhett has been an active, award-winning leader in the Panhandle Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
