Richard Burger

A graduate of Delft University of Technology with a Masters in Marine Technology, he co-founded Swapfiets, Europes largest bike-as-a-service provider, and now leads Eccasion, a platform making used electric vehicles more accessible and transparent for consumers.
Outside of his ventures, Richard is a road cycling enthusiast and enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and cooking. He previously took a career break to travel through South America in a Land Rover with his partner, seeking new inspiration while enjoying nature and culture.
Unique fact: He and his co-founders started Swapfiets while they were still students at university, growing it from a garage startup into a major European company.
