Rick Childers is the Director of the Sentinel IPMO for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, recently promoted to Colonel. A licensed Professional Engineer and PMP, he leads the multi-generational effort to modernize the U. S. ICBM system. He holds degrees from Mercer University and Missouri University of Science and Technology.
A native of Macon, Georgia, Rick is an active leader who publicly praises his teams and participates in commemorative events like 9/11 memorial runs. He shows great pride in the service and volunteer efforts of his colleagues, frequently encouraging and supporting their work.
He is responsible for the program management and engineering oversight of the modernization of the entire land-based leg of the U. S. nuclear triad.
