Rob Bessinger

Rob Bessinger is a seasoned investment banker and the founder of Valorem Capital. He has recently been a key representative for the Vision Group consortium in the business rescue of Tongaat Hulett, a major agricultural firm. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Rhodes University and has extensive experience in deal origination and execution.

Outside of his corporate career, Rob is a dedicated endurance cyclist. He participates in ultra-distance charity rides to raise funds for Chance for Childhood, an organization that supports vulnerable children across Africa. He is described as being very passionate about solving the economic, social, and political challenges facing the continent.

Unique fact: Rob has cycled across America with his team, Team Abana, to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity.
