Outside of his business ventures, Ronnie is a passionate philanthropist. Alongside his wife, Zarina, he founded the Swades Foundation, which aims to empower one million people in rural India by focusing on health, education, water, and sanitation. He also has a keen interest in sports, owning teams in Kabaddi and Football.
Interesting fact: During his school and college days, Ronnie was an avid theatre actor, performing in professional productions of Shakespeares "Othello" and "Death of a Salesman".
