Ryan Bailey is a U. S. Navy Engineer Officer on the USS MONTPELIER (SSN-765) and a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. His career combines technical submarine operations with leadership development, highlighted by his selection as a Severn Leadership Group Fellow and a prior role as an instructor at the Naval Academy.
Outside of his naval duties, Ryan has a distinguished background in competitive swimming. He was a team captain and decorated scholar-athlete for the Naval Academys swimming and diving team, where he later served as an officer representative, mentoring student-athletes.
He graduated with honors from the Submarine Officer Advanced Course, earning the L. J. Spear Award for the highest overall standing in his class.
