Ryan Kirk is the Head of Cloud & DevOps at Formula 1, where he has risen through the ranks since starting as an intern. He specializes in cloud architecture, DevOps, and AI, and spearheaded F1s adoption of Kubernetes. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Plymouth and is a Forbes 30u30 Finalist.
Outside of his technical leadership, Ryan is passionate about giving back to the next generation of talent. He serves as an official student mentor for his alma mater, the University of Plymouth. During his time at university, he was also the captain of the squash team, handling administration and training.
Unique fact: Ryan has worked at Formula 1 since he was 16 years old, progressing from a work experience intern to a department head.
