Ryan Zagata is the President and Founder of Brooklyn Bicycle Co. , a brand he launched in 2011 after two decades in software sales. He focuses on urban mobility and building a customer-obsessed brand. He holds a B. A. from the University at Buffalo and a certificate from Cornell University.
Outside of work, Ryan is a proud father of two. His journey into the bicycle industry was sparked by his move to Brooklyn and a desire to explore his new community, which was further inspired by a trip to Vietnam where he saw utilitarian city bikes in action.
