Sam Alcoff

Sam Alcoff is a founding partner of Tilden Park Capital Management, serving as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer since 2008. His career is rooted in financial technology, having previously led software engineering at BlackRock and the security analytics team at Drake Management. He holds a BSE from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Villanova University.

He has a long-standing professional relationship with his co-founder, Josh Birnbaum, whom he has known since they were undergraduates at the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife are parents to a student at The Ethel Walker School (class of 2027).

Unique fact: Sam holds both an engineering degree and a law degree, and is a member of the bar in New York and New Jersey.
