Sam Gregory is the Director of Data Analytics for U. S. Soccer, where he leads the department supporting all national teams. With a background in economics from McGill University and the London School of Economics, he has nearly a decade of experience in soccer strategy, recruitment, and performance analysis.
Outside of his formal roles, Sam is passionate about fostering the next generation of talent. He actively builds the analytics community by co-organizing the American Soccer Insights Summit and frequently shares advice with aspiring data analysts through interviews and articles on how to enter the industry.
He was awarded the Allen Oliver Gold Medal from McGill University for graduating with the highest academic standing in Honours Economics.
