Samik Shrotriya

Samik Shrotriya is the Co-founder of Impractical. ai, a Y Combinator-backed startup building AI agents for software tasks. A Cornell Engineering graduate, he possesses a strong technical background from Amazon and prior startup experience. He also has a foundation in venture capital, having served as President of Cornell Venture Capital.

Samik shows a passion for education and mentorship, having previously worked as a math instructor for students of all levels. His entrepreneurial drive is evident from co-founding an errands app while at Cornell, where he personally handled significant frontend and backend coding.

While in university, he analyzed the geothermal energy industrys go-to-market strategies for a portfolio company at venture capital firm NEA.
