Sandon Jacobs

With two decades of experience building applications in Java and Scala for various industries, he is also an AWS Certified Solutions Architect. He is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
Outside of his tech career, Sandon is deeply involved in his Indigenous tribal community. He serves as Chairman for the NC American Indian Heritage Commission and is frequently a powwow singer, master of ceremonies, and speaker at celebrations across North America. He lives in Raleigh, NC, with his wife and two daughters.
An avid golfer since age five, he was once mistaken for Tiger Woods at a teen golf event in the early 1990s.
