An American board-certified Applied Behaviour Analyst with a Masters in Psychology, she left a corporate career in the US to establish evidence-based therapy centers for children with developmental disabilities in India.
Deeply inspired by her mother, a philanthropist, Saranyas commitment to social causes is a core part of her life. Her dedication is so profound that she even held her wedding at Sharanalayam. She has expanded her social entrepreneurship to include running homes for the elderly.
She moved back to India from the US after identifying that many people in her mothers NGO were misdiagnosed as mentally ill when they were actually autistic.
