Sean Garrett is the President and CEO of United Way of Metro Chicago, where he focuses on systemic change and neighborhood-level investment. He holds an MBA from Northwesterns Kellogg School of Management and is recognized for securing record-breaking donations, including a $25 million gift from MacKenzie Scott.
Originally from St. Louis, Sean now lives in Chicagos Lincoln Park neighborhood with his wife and two sons. He is deeply involved in the community, serving on the board of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Chicago, and is a passionate St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
