Simon Friedensohn
Login to view DISC.Simon Friedensohn is the Senior Director of Machine Learning & Data Engineering and Co-head of the Basel office for Alloy Therapeutics. He is a scientist and entrepreneur with deep expertise in computational biology and protein engineering, having earned his PhD from ETH Zürich. He previously co-founded deepCDR Biologics, which was acquired by Alloy.
Outside of his direct research, Simon has an interest in process and creative problem-solving. When faced with a creative block, he finds that switching tasks, getting a good nights rest, or clearing his mind by cleaning his desk or apartment helps him find a new perspective on challenging problems.
His PhD research at ETH Zürich directly led to the founding of his startup, deepCDR Biologics, which was subsequently acquired by his current employer, Alloy Therapeutics.
