Simone Mair

Simone Mair is a seasoned IT professional and the Director of Operations for Curly Girl Collective, the organization she co-founded. Leveraging over 15 years of project management experience, she leads business operations and festival production for Curlfest, the largest natural beauty festival in the U.S. She holds a B.A. from Temple University.

Outside of her professional work, Simone is a dedicated humanitarian and community advocate. She mentors young girls interested in STEM, performs with a West African dance troupe, and actively supports causes that empower people of color. She has spoken at events like the WomenWerk Conference to celebrate the leadership of women.

She is a co-founder of Curlfest, which grew from a small gathering in 2014 to an event attracting over 30,000 attendees, creating a major platform for small, Black-owned businesses.
