Soma Mukhopadhyay

Soma Mukhopadhyay is the Executive Director of HALO in Austin, where she pioneers autism education. She holds an MSc from Ranchi University and is globally recognized for developing the Rapid Prompting Method (RPM), an academic program that fosters communication, reasoning, and motor skills for individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Her lifes work is deeply personal, stemming from her journey to educate and communicate with her own non-verbal son, Tito. This experience transformed her into a dedicated teacher and advocate, leading her to homeschool him in India before bringing her methods to the United States to help thousands of other families.

She developed the Rapid Prompting Method specifically to teach her son after professionals told her he would never be able to communicate.
