Suriya Dev Saravanakumar

Suriya is a high school student-athlete focused on AI and machine learning research. He founded the SunSip Foundation to create sustainable water filtration systems and has conducted AI-driven research on Alzheimers disease with mentorship from PhD researchers. People who have worked with him describe him as having a "cut-throat and fierce mentality."

Based in Qatar, Suriya has a passion for applying his skills to solve real-world problems. This is demonstrated by his initiative to provide clean water to underserved communities and his research on the psychological impact of social media on adolescents, which was published in an international journal. He also has a keen interest in mathematics.

His research using AI to analyze eye movement patterns for Alzheimers detection was submitted to the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Conference.
