A Chartered Director, Royal Academy of Engineering Fellow, and former commercial diver, he leverages his unique background to accelerate reef creation on a global scale through innovative, nature-based solutions.
An avid diver since age 13, Toms direct experience witnessing habitat degradation fueled his mission. He is also a keen and competitive sailor, nationally and internationally. During his university years, he was active in the boxing club, showcasing a disciplined and hands-on approach to his interests both in and out of the water.
His firsthand experience as a commercial diver and witnessing degrading habitats directly inspired him to co-found ARC marine to actively reverse the damage.
