Tyler Thompson, P.Eng, PMP, ENV SP, CCA (MMCD)

Tyler Thompson is the Senior Manager of the Terminal Project Management Office at BC Ferries, leading the delivery of all terminal infrastructure projects. He is a strategic-thinking engineer with extensive experience managing complex civil, marine, and transportation infrastructure. His career includes developing seismic policy for BCs bridges and managing bridge and structures assets for the City of Victoria.

He is a certified Envision Sustainability Professional and holds a certificate in Gender-Based Analysis+, indicating a focus on sustainable and equitable practices in his field. Tyler has been actively involved in his professional community, serving as a Member at Large for the Victoria Branch of Engineers and Geoscientists BC.

Unique fact: Early in his career, he helped develop the seismic retrofit prioritization methodology for all bridges in British Columbia.
