Outside of her primary role, Valerie is dedicated to community wellness, serving as the Vice Chair for the YMCA of Southwest Nova Scotia. In this volunteer position, she supports strategic governance and helps advance local community initiatives, strengthening the YMCAs impact in Lunenburg and Queens Counties.
