He serves as Chairman and Lead Ambassador for the NFL Alumni Association and is an NFL Compliance Officer. He holds a Bachelors from Utah State and a Masters from Tennessee State University.
Beyond his professional roles, Al is a published author and dedicated to mentorship and fundraising. He is heavily involved in supporting fellow NFL alumni and local youth organizations through his leadership in the Tennessee chapter of the NFL Alumni Association. He is also an active public speaker, recently presenting to an audience of over 1, 000 doctors.
After an 11-year All-Pro career in the NFL, he authored the book "Think Like a Pro Act Like a Pro".
