Alex Pearson

A graduate of St. Olaf College and a former CTO/co-founder of Platter, a Postgres database platform, he has extensive experience leading software teams. People who have worked with him describe him as a great and patient instructor.
Outside of his technology career, Alex is a certified weightlifting and CrossFit coach, having previously co-founded a CrossFit and weightlifting gym where he served as CEO and Head Coach. He has a passion for mentoring, demonstrated through his support for coding academy graduates and past roles in technology education.
He holds both a USAW Sports Performance Coach L1 certification and a Catalyst Athletics CF-L1 Weightlifting Coach certification.
