Alexis Kent is an educational leader and researcher focused on transforming systems through equity and Indigenous ways of knowing. A graduate of the University of British Columbia, she has led institution-wide initiatives in community wellbeing and Indigenous education, leveraging a practice-grounded perspective from her time as a school director and chaplain.
Outside of her professional work, Alexis is a published author and photographer based in Minnesota. Her creative nonfiction explores themes of healing, family, ritual, and decolonization through storytelling. She has a deep interest in using writing as a pathway for personal and community healing.
