Amiel Leblanc

Amiel Leblanc is the founder and "Chief Flavour Maker" of Maritime Madness Inc. , a Prince Edward Island-based hot sauce company he started in 2002. What began as a side hustle making sauces for family and friends has grown into a nationally recognized brand with distribution in over 400 stores.

Amiel is a hands-on entrepreneur who has intentionally kept his business family-run to ensure a good quality of life. He is deeply involved in the creative process, from recipe development to growing many of his own hot peppers, and uses other local PEI ingredients like honey, apples, and maple syrup.

Before he was a hot sauce creator, Amiels first artisanal business was hand-crafting and selling drums at craft shows.
