Amy Ostrom is the Vice Dean and PetSmart Chair in Services Leadership at Arizona State Universitys W. P. Carey School of Business. An ASU alumna with a Ph. D. from Northwesterns Kellogg School, her research focuses on transformative service, technology-enabled services, and customer co-creation. She has served in leadership roles since joining the faculty in 1996.

Amy has deep personal and professional ties to ASU, where her parents worked and where she met her husband. In 2024, she and her husband established the Ostrom Marketing Student Success Scholarship to support students with financial need, aiming to reduce barriers to higher education and help them achieve their dreams.

She was named the 2004 Arizona Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
