Anahita is a Data Scientist at Amgens AI&D Innovation Lab, focusing on developing human-centered AI products. She holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and previously trained predictive models on EHR and claims data. Her academic research focused on applying AI to understand genetic disorders.
Outside of her primary role, Anahita has a strong interest in biomechanics and rehabilitation engineering. She has demonstrated a passion for education and mentorship by serving as a Python instructor for Girls Who Code, aiming to help others enter the technology field.
