Arleen Barnett is a retired Vice President from Portland General Electric (PGE), where she had a long-tenured career, joining the company in 1978. Her most recent role was Vice President of Administration, which included oversight of Human Resources, IT, and Environmental Services. She earned a bachelors degree in English from Abilene Christian University.
Arleen is deeply committed to her community, serving as a board member for the Oregon Historical Society and the Urban League of Portland. She also has a history of board service with Junior Achievement and the Salvation Army. In her personal time, she enjoys travel, music, reading, and spending time with her family.
Her career at PGE began with a role as a transcriptionist, and she advanced through numerous positions to eventually join the executive team.
