He previously founded the live-streaming service Caffeine, scaling it to 61M monthly users, and Chomp, which was acquired by Apple. He is a university dropout who taught himself to program at age 10.
Outside of his entrepreneurial ventures, Ben is a lifelong gamer, a passion which directly inspired the creation of Caffeine. Having grown up by the beach in Australia, he is also an avid surfer. He maintains an active interest in the startup ecosystem, recently participating in a Series A funding round.
While at Apple, he won an Emmy Award for his design leadership on the fourth-generation Apple TV operating system.
