He combines his leadership in higher education and passion for lifelong learning—currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education—with years of practical experience as the former owner and operator of BLG Concessions, LLC.
Outside of his professional life, Benjamin is a dedicated father who has actively supported his sons scouting journey. His personal interests are diverse, ranging from the technical field of culinary arts to a fascination with space exploration, particularly the work done by NASA. He also engages with his professional community through the American Culinary Federation.
He was recently named the Post-Secondary Professional of the Year by the North Dakota Association for Technical Education.
