Benjamin Katzenstein

Benjamin Katzenstein is the President of Star Kay White, a multi-generational family business that manufactures flavoring ingredients for the ice cream industry. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he is the fourth generation to lead the company, which supplies major brands like Ben and Jerrys.

Outside of his professional life, Benjamin has a keen interest in maritime history, serving as a benefactor to the National Maritime Historical Society. Before joining the family business, he traveled extensively, including a 20, 000-mile solo trip across the United States in a pickup truck.

Unique fact: He once dropped out of college to travel the country alone for 25 weeks in a pickup truck with a cabin he built himself.
