Brian Eule is the incoming President and CEO of the Heising-Simons Foundation, returning after serving as Managing Director for FRONTLINE on PBS. An accomplished author, he previously established the foundations journalism grantmaking initiative. He holds degrees from Stanford University and Columbia University.
Outside of his professional roles, Brian is a passionate advocate for journalisms role in democracy and the power of documentary storytelling. His nonfiction book, "Match Day, " explores the human side of medicine by following the intense first year of three new doctors.
He created and directed the American Mosaic Journalism Prize, the largest journalism prize in the United States, which awards two freelance journalists $100, 000 annually.
