Brian Hart

Brian Hart is a Senior Data Scientist at Catapult Sports, where he analyzes sensor and GPS data to enhance athlete performance for professional and college teams. With a Masters in Statistical Practice from Boston University and a background in applied statistics, he is also a published researcher on sports biomechanics.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys watching sports, reading, running, and going on walks with his wife and their dog. He also gives back to his alma mater by serving as a mentor for graduate students in Boston Universitys Data Science Mentorship Circles program, guiding them on their career paths.

Brian made a unique career transition from managing K-12 education data for a charter school district to the world of elite sports analytics.
