Bruce Achneepineskum

Bruce Achneepineskum is the Chief of Marten Falls First Nation, leading major infrastructure and economic development initiatives for his community. A graduate of Ryerson University, he is a key figure in negotiations for the Ring of Fire access road, ensuring his community is a primary partner and beneficiary.

His work is driven by a deep commitment to his communitys advancement and the rights of its members. He is a vocal advocate for upholding treaty promises and emphasizes the importance of providing access to quality education for all First Nations people.

He is at the forefront of a historic effort to connect his remote community to Ontarios provincial power grid for the first time.
