Deeply committed to his community, Calvin is a member of the Tahltan Nations Crow Clan and grew up in Iskut. He has served on numerous volunteer boards, including Community Futures, and has been recognized as Volunteer of the Year. He is passionate about balancing economic development with environmental stewardship and Indigenous participation.
He has served for over 12 years on the TNDC board, including six years as its Chairman.
