Dr. Calvin Nobles is the Dean of the School of Cybersecurity and Information Technology at the University of Maryland Global Campus. A retired U. S. Navy officer with over 25 years of experience, he is a leading expert in integrating human factors engineering into cybersecurity operations, holding multiple doctorates in related fields and advising senior executives.

Outside of his academic and professional leadership, Dr. Nobles is a published author and a commercial-rated pilot. His passion for aviation safety and human factors was ignited during his time as a naval aviator. He recently co-authored the book, "Human Factors in Cybersecurity, " which provides a framework for designing human-centered security systems.
