Candice Loring is the Director of Indigenous Relations and Initiatives at Genome British Columbia, where she works to advance the national Indigenous innovation ecosystem. Holding an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University, she also serves as an Adjunct Professor at UBC. Her career is dedicated to bridging Indigenous knowledge with Western systems for collaborative innovation.
A proud member of the Gitwangak band from the Gitxsan Nation, Candice is a passionate advocate for small businesses and entrepreneurship within Indigenous communities. She is a board member for the Indigenous Tech Circle and serves on multiple councils, demonstrating a deep commitment to community building, mentorship, and economic development.
