Carol Thomas

Carol Thomas is the Chief Operating Officer at Derby Cathedral, a role she progressed to after joining as Head of Operations in 2018. Her background is in project and operational management within the private sector, and she now fulfills her duties in a hybrid capacity from Scotland and Derby.

Outside of work, Carol enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, having moved to Scotland to be closer to nature. Her passions include wild swimming and she is also an avid, long-time supporter of Derby County Football Club, keeping her connected to her local roots.

Prior to her work with the Cathedral, Carols diverse background includes owning and operating her own childrens soft play centre.
