Cathy Jordan is the Vice Mayor for the City of Belmont and a customer marketing consultant with a background in building customer advocacy programs. Described as having a dedicated and collaborative work ethic, she has also served on the local school and water district boards. She holds a degree in Speech and Communication Studies from San Francisco State University.
As a 25-year Belmont resident where she raised her two daughters, Cathy is deeply committed to public service. Her motivation stems from her heritage as a daughter of Filipino immigrants. In her youth, she was an active member of the SFSU Collegiate Debate Team and participated in JROTC and the Girls Drill Team in high school.
Unique fact: Cathy is the first Filipino-American woman to serve on the Belmont City Council and is noted as the only person to have served the community on the City Council, the School Board, and the Water District Board.
