Chad Cottle is the CISO and Deputy CIO for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. With over 25 years of IT experience, he is responsible for operations, security, cloud architecture, and AI. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in Cybersecurity and holds numerous certifications including C-CISO, CEH, and CASP.
Outside of his government role, Chad is deeply involved in the local cybersecurity community, encouraging participation in groups like ISSA and ISACA Kentuckiana. He enjoys zymurgy, brewing IPAs and making Cabernet, and is the guitarist for a band called “The Berenstain Conspiracy. ”
