Charles Talbot manages the Falconhurst Estate, a role he assumed in 1978 after a career as a barrister. Educated at the Royal College of Music, he is also a dedicated musician and serves as the Musical Director for the St Martin Singers, leveraging his diverse expertise in law, agriculture, and the arts.
Outside of his estate duties, music is a defining passion. An accomplished pianist, singer, and conductor, he actively promotes the arts within his community. He has co-founded an opera company that involved both amateurs and professionals and continues to organize musical events and direct local choirs, including at Markbeech church.
He uniquely combines three distinct, high-level professions: a barrister at the Chancery Bar, a hands-on manager of an organic farm, and a classically trained musical conductor.
