Cheryl Paynter is an experienced public sector leader, currently serving as the CEO of the Prince Edward Island Housing Corporation. Her career includes CEO roles at the Workers Compensation Board, Tourism PEI, and Innovation PEI. She holds an ICD. D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Outside of her government roles, Cheryl is deeply involved in community and wellness. She is a co-owner and trainer at CrossFit Charlottetown, board chair for the PEI Marathon, and an organizing member of 100 Women Who Care PEI. She lives in Charlottetown with her husband.
