Chris Wright is the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Engineering at Red Hat, where he directs the companys technology vision. With over 25 years of experience, including more than 15 as a Linux kernel developer, he is a staunch advocate for open source. He is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Outside of work, Chris is an avid cyclist and lives in Portland, Oregon. He learned adaptability from moving frequently as a child and has found a surprising passion for managing people, whom he finds fascinating and dynamic.
