Christian is the Head of Controlling for Space Exploration & the Orion European Service Module at Airbus Defence and Space. With a background in Business from the University of Göttingen, he has progressed through several project control and management roles at Airbus, demonstrating deep expertise in managing complex aerospace programs.

His professional role is matched by a strong personal passion for space exploration. He expresses great excitement for the new era of human spaceflight, particularly NASAs Artemis program, and has visited Kennedy Space Center to see the launch hardware up close.

He leads the financial controlling for Europes contribution to the Orion spacecraft, which will return humans to the Moon.
