CJ Thompson is the Chairman and CEO of Tenacity Capital, an investment parent company focused on building businesses and fostering rural revitalization, particularly in Prince Edward County. A former collegiate hockey player at SUNY Oswego and a Picton native, he leverages his background in finance to develop community-focused projects like the Picton Harbour waterfront.
Outside of his primary business, CJ is an active community leader. He serves on the Board of Directors for the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, demonstrating a commitment to local healthcare. He is a father to two children, Cruz and Aviana, and reconnects with his own childhood memories by skating with them on the harbor ice.
He was a key member of the Wellington Dukes 2003 Royal Bank Cup run and won a 2007 NCAA Division III national hockey championship with the Oswego State Lakers.
